  1. Staff requiring mobile access on Android or iOS devices to Selkirk College email will need to Submit a Ticket .

  2. Once the ticket has been actioned and appropriate group membership has been added, you may elect to configure your mobile device as per below, or visit the ITS Service Desk for assistance.
Google Android
  • Select "Settings" > "Accounts & Sync" > "Add Account" > "Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync"
  • Email address: Full email address (e.g. Jdoe@selkirk.ca)
  • Username: Full Novell username (e.g. Jdoe)
  • Server: casgmslx2.selkirk.ca
  • SSL: Enabled
  • Domain: selkirk.ca
Apple ios
  • Select "Settings" > "Accounts & Passwords" > "Add Account" > "Exchange Mail Account"
  • Email address: Full email address (e.g. Jdoe@selkirk.ca)
  • Username: Full Novell username (e.g. Jdoe)
  • Server: casgmslx2.selkirk.ca
  • SSL: Enabled
  • Domain: selkirk.ca

NOTE:  Users with large mailboxes may experience failures to sync.  This issue may be resolved by either:

a) reducing your mailbox size

OR

b) changing which folders are synchronized at https://casgmslx2.selkirk.ca:8120/
