A site license for Zoom access will also be available for all staff hopefully by the end of the week to support video conferencing between staff and students with training resources to follow.
- Staff that have a pre-existing license for Zoom will receive a request to merge their Zoom account with the Selkirk College site license, please merge accounts to ensure your videos and pre-existing meetings are migrated to the Selkirk College site license. We have been assured that staff will continue to have access to any content already available on their own Zoom account.

IT Services is now requesting deans & chairs to submit requests for deploying temporary desktops to critical staff to support alternative delivery methods for programs.
- Desktops are in short supply (44) and feature web cameras, speakers and a microphone to support video conferencing.
- IT Services recommends staff source headsets with microphones for enhanced content delivery for conferencing. The desktops feature both USB 2.0, bluetooth and 3.5mm audio connectivity.
Please continue submitting requests for temporary desktops to the IT Service desk ticketing system at https://go.selkirk.ca
- Once a ticket has been submitted, IT Services will contact the staff member to schedule the deployment.
We are excited to provide resources, knowledge and support through a dedicated 'Keep Teaching' area on our new Knowledge Base at https://go.selkirk.ca
- We will let you know when we are ready to unveil this new knowledge area, easily accessible from work, home or your device.
IT Services have enabled temporary Microsoft OneDrive access (https://onedrive.live.com/) ;for all Selkirk College staff to assist with storing work data in the cloud.
- Please note this storage is available temporarily to assist with alternative delivery methods. Further training resources will be made available at https://go.selkirk.ca
