IT SERVICES UPDATE
March 18, 2020
| IT Services is now requesting Deans & Chairs to submit requests for deploying temporary desktops to critical staff to support alternative delivery methods for programs. Availability is extremely limited.
To request a temporary desktop, please submit a ticket to the IT Service Centre. Once a ticket has been submitted, IT Services will contact the staff member to schedule the deployment. |
We are excited to provide information and resources through an area within the Knowledge Centre dedicated to supporting this transition to temporary teaching, learning and working.
| |
A site license for Zoom access will also be available for all staff hopefully by the end of the week to support video conferencing between staff and students with training resources to follow.
| |
Moodle is available to assist Instructors with remote delivery to help finish off the semester. To use Moodle, please follow the steps below:
Current Moodle users requiring assistance with assessments or delivery options, please email Justin (jible@selkirk.ca). | |
IT Services has enabled temporary Microsoft OneDrive access for all Selkirk College staff to assist with storing work data in the cloud.
