Zoom Desktop Client (PC, Mac, or Linux) will release updates when new versions are released.  Updating is important to ensure you are working with the latest version with bug fixes and functionality enhancements.

To Download Updates:

There are 2 ways you can update: 

  1. Software Center via VPN Connection: Launch the Software Centre. Click on the Zoom application.  Your installed version should say 5.0.  Click install if it doesn't show that version number,



  2. Manual:  If you don't have VPN access or Software Centre is failing, you can update manually.

    1. Exit out of Zoom
    2. Download the Zoom Installer
    3. Install the the application

      1. If there is a newer version, Zoom will download and install it.
