Selkirk College students receive a default password (that works for Moodle, webmail and computers). Your student number is your login name and the initial PIN is your date of birth in the following format YYMMDD. You will log in with this password and can then change it at any time.

Forgot your password and can't log in to submit a ticket? 

Visit the Password Portal or submit an IT Ticket.


If you change your password in webmail, it will also change your login password. NOTE: This DOES NOT APPLY to Napra Bridging Students.

If you are a returning student, please use the password you used last year.

Change Your Password

  • Log into Portal.
  • Supply your user name for your network account. (Hint: your first and last name combined up to a maximum of 18 characters in length. E.g. John Doe would be johndoe.)
  • User names are not case sensitive but passwords are. 
  • If you are unsuccessful at either logging in or changing password please submit a Helpdesk ticket
